The Apply Agent is switched off

What changed

Our Apply Agent was a service that prepared applications overnight and could send some of them for you. It is switched off, and nothing is prepared or sent any more. We also stopped selling the products built around it. Their checkouts refuse a purchase and charge nothing.

If you bought one of them, write to resumeboostersupp@gmail.com from the address you paid with and we will honour what you bought.

Your account keeps what it had. The application tracker, your saved jobs and any applications the agent prepared before stay where they were, and none of them will be sent.

How to apply now: with your own AI

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code to Resume Booster at resumebooster.work/agents. It is free and needs no account. Then give your AI your CV in the chat and ask it to help you apply to a job, either by pasting the job's link from the board or by picking one from a search.

Your AI reads the posting. When the employer uses Greenhouse, Ashby, Recruitee, Breezy or Pinpoint, it also reads the employer's real application form, question by question. Inside ChatGPT it reads the form only for Greenhouse or Recruitee. For every other employer it reads the posting and gives you the employer's apply link, and you fill in their form yourself.

Who answers each question

The rule is default-deny. Resume Booster marks a question for your AI to draft only when it reads as one of two kinds: open questions about the work you have done, and a short list of motivation questions such as why you want the role. Your AI is told to draft those only from the CV you gave it in that chat, to flag anything your CV does not support, and to show you each draft before it is used.

Every other question is marked for you to answer in your own words, and your AI is told to ask you rather than guess.

The marking reads the question's words, not its meaning. A question about you, even a plainly worded one, can still be marked for a draft, and some ordinary work questions are marked for you. So read every answer before you send, whoever wrote it.

You press submit

Resume Booster never submits anything. You submit on the employer's own site, by hand or with a browser tool working beside you.

Claude in Chrome (on paid Claude plans, in Chrome on a computer) and ChatGPT's browser can fill a form in with you. Choose manual approval for application forms, attach your CV yourself if the tool cannot, and create any employer account yourself. Resume Booster tells your AI to stop before the final Submit button, so pressing it is always your decision.

On a free plan or a phone, ask your AI for the answers as a list and paste them into the employer's form.

What your AI is told never to do

These rules are in the instructions Resume Booster gives every connected AI. They describe what we tell it, not a promise about what a model will do, which is why you check every answer before you send it.
