Job Title: Application Architect Location: Remote/Hybrid - DHS CISA; approved remote work location within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Government facility attendance may be required. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time; core availability 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Security Requirements: Must obtain and maintain a favorable DHS/CISA Entry on Duty or fitness determination and complete the background investigation to obtain Public Trust. Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet DHS/CISA personnel and system access requirements. AttainX is seeking an Application Architect to design the enterprise architecture for CISA's DocuSign environment. The architect translates business and technical requirements into secure digital agreement workflows, integrations, records management controls, and deployment designs. Qualifications and Education Requirements: A minimum of seven (7) years of related IT experience, including at least three (3) years designing enterprise application architectures and integrations. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent education, training, and relevant experience will be considered. Experience designing DocuSign or comparable enterprise e-signature solutions, including templates, routing, account structures, and retention controls. Experience with SaaS architectures, REST APIs, webhooks, Microsoft 365 integration, enterprise identity systems, and secure authentication. Knowledge of role-based access control, logging, boundary protection, federal records management, metadata, and NARA requirements. Experience documenting architectures and requirements, supporting lifecycle testing, and applying Federal, DHS, CISA, and Section 508 standards. A current Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred. Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a DHS CISA Docusign Public Trust clearance. Job Duties: Facilitate requirements workshops and design DocuSign architectures, digital agreement workflows, routing logic, retention rules, and integration patterns. Develop implementation plans covering milestones, technical dependencies, resources, and testing protocols. Define account, group, template, administrative policy, alerting, and branding configurations with delivery teams. Design integrations with Microsoft 365, identity systems, and contract or case platforms using connectors, plugins, and custom APIs. Design automated envelope creation and archival to Agency repositories, preserving required metadata and records disposition requirements. Incorporate secure authentication, access controls, logging, monitoring, and boundary protection into solution designs. Guide developmental and operational testing, document results, and support technical evidence needed for security authorization and deployment. Maintain architecture diagrams and SOPs for e-signature use, consent notices, records capture, metadata entry, and exception handling; support administrator and end-user training.
