The Shop Supervisor (SPARK) will lead a team of technicians and operators within Napesco. This role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, maintaining equipment readiness, enforcing safety standards, and providing technical guidance to ensure that manufacturing targets are met with precision and efficiency. Lead and direct shop floor technicians and operators to ensure workflow meets the production schedule. Assign daily work orders to staff based on their skills and available machine capacity. Perform periodic inspections during manufacturing to ensure compliance with engineering drawings. Ensure all workers wear PPE and strictly follow occupational safety protocols. Monitor preventive maintenance programs for machines to ensure readiness and minimize downtime. Ensure raw materials and tools are available before starting production to avoid interruptions. Provide hands‑on technical support to technicians when facing manufacturing or programming challenges. Monitor labor hours and actual productivity against the planned time for each component. Train new technicians and help them improve their skills in machine operation and measurement tools. Submit daily reports to the Shop Manager regarding production status, breakdowns, and operational hurdles. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field. Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing shop supervision experience. Deep knowledge of machining processes, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools. Proficiency in reading complex engineering blueprints.
