Position Summary The Manufacturing ERP / NetSuite Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, optimization, and ongoing use of NetSuite within our manufacturing operations. This position will initially focus on improving the quality and structure of manufacturing data, implementing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings, supporting the deployment of NetSuite Manufacturing Mobile, and helping establish standardized ERP processes across the organization. Following implementation, the Analyst will have ongoing responsibility for manufacturing master data governance, system accuracy, user support, reporting, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment and understands how item masters, BOMs, routings, work orders, inventory, purchasing, production planning, and shop-floor transactions work together. Direct NetSuite manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. This is a hands-on role that will work closely with Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance, and external NetSuite resources. Key Responsibilities ERP Implementation & Optimization Support the implementation and optimization of NetSuite manufacturing functionality. Assist with the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of: Bills of Materials (BOMs) BOM revisions Manufacturing routings Work centers Labor and machine standards Manufacturing work orders Material consumption Production reporting NetSuite Manufacturing Mobile Work with department leaders and subject matter experts to translate current manufacturing processes into effective ERP processes. Participate in system testing and validation prior to implementation of new functionality. Assist with data migration, cleansing, validation, and implementation activities. Identify opportunities to replace spreadsheets, manual processes, and duplicate data with standardized NetSuite processes. Manufacturing Master Data Maintain the accuracy and integrity of manufacturing master data within NetSuite. Create, update, and maintain: Item master records BOMs and BOM revisions Routings Work centers Units of measure Manufacturing lead times Planning parameters Labor and machine standards Purchased and manufactured item attributes Support the development of standards for creating, approving, modifying, and deactivating master data. Perform routine audits to identify incomplete, duplicate, obsolete, or inaccurate data. Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure approved product and process changes are accurately reflected in NetSuite. Help establish clear ownership and approval processes for ERP master data. Manufacturing & User Support Serve as a primary point of contact for manufacturing-related NetSuite questions and issues. Support Sales, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Quality, and Operations users. Troubleshoot transactional and data issues that affect production, inventory, purchasing, or planning. Train employees on proper NetSuite transactions and processes. Assist the Process Engineer in the development of standardized work instructions and process documentation. Monitor adoption of established ERP processes and identify areas where additional training or process improvement is needed. Support accurate and timely completion of manufacturing transactions, including material issues, labor reporting, work-order completions, and inventory movements. Reporting & Data Analysis Create and maintain NetSuite saved searches, reports, dashboards, and operational KPIs. Develop reporting that helps identify data-quality and transaction-compliance issues. Support Operations leadership with ERP-based analysis and reporting. Identify recurring data or process problems and assist with root-cause analysis. Track improvements in ERP adoption, data accuracy, inventory accuracy, and manufacturing transaction compliance. Continuous Improvement Work with Operations leadership to identify opportunities to improve the use of NetSuite across the organization. Help standardize ERP processes between departments. Recommend system or process improvements that reduce manual work and improve data accuracy. Participate in future ERP, manufacturing systems, inventory, planning, and automation projects. Coordinate with external NetSuite consultants or implementation partners as needed. Requirements 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology. Experience working with manufacturing master data such as item masters, BOMs, routings, work centers, or production standards. Understanding the relationship between purchasing, inventory, production planning, manufacturing, and work orders. Strong data management and analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to analyze a process, identify problems, and develop practical solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with both office personnel and shop-floor employees. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across departments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent relevant manufacturing and ERP experience will be considered. Experience with NetSuite ERP. Experience with NetSuite manufacturing functionality. Experience with NetSuite Manufacturing Mobile. Experience creating NetSuite saved searches, dashboards, and reports. Experience with MRP, production planning, inventory management, or production control. Experience implementing or significantly improving an ERP system. Experience with data cleansing or master data management initiatives. Familiarity with engineering change processes and BOM revision control. Experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
