Perform hands-on coding and code reviews as a peer developer when needed. Understand customer and business requirements and use that knowledge to design and develop appropriate solutions. Design, develop, review, implement, maintain, and manage application code, CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment scripts as required. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including daily standups, demos, retrospectives, estimation, and planning. Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members when needed. Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager. General Requirements Typically 7+ years of software development experience , depending on demonstrated technical capability and learning ability. Ability to develop a deep understanding of project technologies and work independently with minimal guidance. Strong self-learning ability and willingness to adapt quickly to new technologies. At least upper-intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in a distributed team environment. Technical Requirements Hands-on experience with Node.js. Experience with front-end technologies such as React.js or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with microservices and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Able to work effectively and independently across software implementation activities, including: Solution design Coding Code verification Unit testing Integration testing Debugging Proficient in the daily use of AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code across the software development lifecycle. Experience with agentic workflows and AI-driven development frameworks. Nice to have: Experience integrating AI tools with external systems through MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent approaches. Ability to decompose complex engineering tasks, provide effective context to AI tools, and apply structured multi-step prompting workflows. Awareness of emerging AI development tools and willingness to evaluate and adopt new capabilities when they provide practical value.
