🔎 Context: Our mobile app is built with React Native, and our web interfaces are built with Vue.js. We are looking for a senior developer who is proficient in both technologies and comfortable working on web as well as mobile. With AI, writing code has become much faster. We therefore believe that a developer’s value also lies in their ability to understand the product, use their judgment, contribute to team decisions, and quickly turn an idea into a useful experience for our travelers. The Squad XP The Squad XP (Experience) has the mission of creating an exceptional traveler experience and driving repeat bookings. It steps in once the booking is made, from trip preparation through the post-stay phase. Much of this experience takes place in our mobile app. The squad works in particular on: Discovery and booking of additional services and experiences before and during the stay The traveler’s experience in our app Access to useful information and support throughout the stay Collection of NPS and customer feedback Features that extend the relationship after the trip and encourage a new booking The squad is responsible for the long-term improvement of its business KPIs. Example KPIs: repeat rate, NPS, app adoption, usage of services and experiences. ✨ Responsibilities: You will report to the Front-end Engineering Manager, who supports you on your growth, on quality, and on cross-cutting technical topics. Day to day, you will work directly with a Product Manager and a Back-end developer, and you may also collaborate with a Product Designer and a Product Analyst as needed. You will take on most of the squad’s mobile work, with possible backup from the team’s cross-squad mobile expertise when needed. Together with the PM and the Back-end developer, you are accountable for the impact of what the squad builds. In practice, you: Understand travelers, how they use our product, and the difficulties they face Take part in identifying and prioritizing the problems with the greatest impact Design solutions collaboratively with the PM, the Back-end developer, and the other experts involved Build new experiences on our mobile app and web interfaces Make the squad’s technical decisions together with the Back-end developer, and involve the Engineering Managers for cross-cutting trade-offs Evolve our development practices Measure results after release to production Continuously improve the product based on data and customer feedback The squad decides directly on limited, easily reversible projects, within the priorities agreed with the CTPO. Structural projects are presented to the Executive Committee each quarter and require its approval. You won’t simply receive mockups to turn into code. You will contribute to product decisions alongside the PM, the Back-end developer, and the other experts involved. Your relationship with AI AI tools are rapidly changing how we design and build. We want to move fast and keep adapting to new ways of working. We are looking for someone who experiments, learns quickly, adjusts the way they work as tools evolve, and shares what they learn with the team. The goal is not to preserve old methods, but to deliver quality experiences faster, without losing the judgment and product understanding that make a senior developer valuable. 🚀 Your first six months: After one month You have gotten up to speed with our React Native app and our Vue.js interfaces You have understood how travelers use our product and what the squad’s KPIs are You have shipped a first change to production After three months You are autonomous on the squad’s topics and contribute to product decisions alongside the other members of your squad You have shipped your first initiatives, with measured results After six months You have demonstrated the impact of at least one initiative on a squad KPI You contribute to evolving the team’s practices You actively propose which initiatives to pursue 🔎 Ideal Candidate: You have 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
