To support this mission, Syngenta’s Seeds Production Team is seeking an onsite Field Production Specialist in Beja . This role will support the delivery of safe, high-quality seed production across the assigned growing area by: Supporting grower relationships, farm prospecting and production follow-up. Coordinating field production activities, teams and service providers. Collecting and reporting production data, while supporting quality and compliance activities. Providing operational cover for the Field Production Agronomist during peak periods, absences, simultaneous crops and regional projects. What you will do In your assigned growing area, you will: Support farm and grower prospecting, grower negotiations and relationship management. Follow up on planting and production instructions provided by the Field Production Manager in collaboration with SPR services. Collect field and production data and prepare accurate reports. Coordinate and supervise field production team members assigned to the area. When operational circumstances require additional support-such as dispersed production areas, absences, simultaneous seed crops or regional projects-you will also: Organise field production activities across growers, third-party service providers and internal teams. Coordinate official inspections and maintain relationships with relevant authorities. Support quality supervision and investigate non-conformances and out-of-specification cases. Represent the growing area, Production Site or crop in regional improvement projects. Organise field teams for external labour activities, including roguing and weed control. Take responsibility for direct field production operations as required. What you will bring Practical knowledge of agronomy and seed production for extensive field crops, including crop monitoring, varietal purity, field inspections and quality requirements. Experience in seed field production or a comparable agricultural production environment, ideally working with growers and dispersed production areas. Understanding of safe working practices, production records, traceability and data collection. Ability to coordinate field activities with growers, seasonal labour, service providers and internal teams. Strong planning, communication and teamwork skills, with confidence managing several priorities in a dynamic outdoor environment. Able to communicate in English and/or French. Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned growing area during the production season.
