Netafim is looking for a Global Category Manager to join its Global Procurement team and lead strategic sourcing categories supporting water and irrigation solutions across global markets. This role is responsible for managing suppliers in Israel and abroad, leading strategic procurement initiatives, conducting commercial negotiations, developing long-term supplier agreements, and building category strategies that support the company's global business needs and growth. Responsibilities Manage strategic procurement categories and a portfolio of local and global suppliers. Lead sourcing activities, tenders, supplier evaluation and supplier onboarding processes. Conduct commercial negotiations and manage agreements and contracts with suppliers in Israel and internationally. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Business Units. Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier performance improvements and risk mitigation activities. Monitor market trends, technological developments and sourcing opportunities. Conduct regular visits to suppliers in Israel and occasional international business travel. Requirements Previous experience in a global industrial company. Experience in Direct Procurement of technical and physical products. Experience working with suppliers in fields such as electrical systems, electronics, mechanical products, hydraulics or multidisciplinary technical systems. Proven experience managing commercial negotiations, contracts and supplier relationships locally and globally. Excellent English communication skills, including contract negotiations and business discussions. Experience working with ERP systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment. Strong interpersonal skills, influence, resilience and stakeholder management capabilities. Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
