Job Description ​Role Overview: We are looking for a Product Manager to own and drive key product initiatives across discovery, delivery, and optimisation for a defined product area. This role focuses on translating customer needs and business goals into clear product requirements, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. The Product Manager will contribute to roadmap execution, support product discovery efforts, and ensure delivery aligns with customer value and business impact. About the Role We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Product Manager - Provider Data Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of products that power provider data acquisition, enrichment, governance, quality, and distribution across the healthcare ecosystem. This role is ideal for a Data Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of healthcare data, analytics, product innovation, and technology. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets, validating hypotheses through analytics, rapidly prototyping solutions, and leveraging AI and emerging technologies to solve complex provider data challenges. The Product Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of provider data products and capabilities, collaborating closely with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Architecture, UX, AI, and Business teams to deliver high-value solutions that improve data quality, operational efficiency, provider experience, and customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Provider Data Management capabilities. Develop long-term vision for provider data products including: Provider Directory Provider Registry Provider MDM / Golden Record Network Intelligence Provider Data Quality Data Acquisition and Enrichment Identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and automation to improve provider data accuracy, completeness, and operational efficiency. Align product investments with business objectives, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities. Establish measurable product outcomes and success metrics. Data Product Management Act as the product owner for provider data assets, datasets, APIs, and data services. Define data product requirements, quality standards, governance models, and service-level expectations. Partner with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to design scalable provider data platforms. Drive creation and management of provider golden records and master data strategies. Define data sourcing, matching, enrichment, data lineage, and quality measurement capabilities. Balance business, customer, compliance, and technical requirements in product decisions. Customer Discovery & Domain Leadership Build expertise in provider data management workflows and healthcare industry standards. Engage customers, payers, providers, internal stakeholders, and operational teams to uncover pain points and opportunities. Conduct market and competitive analysis across provider data vendors, directories, credentialing, and provider network management solutions. Translate customer problems into validated product opportunities and business cases. Serve as the internal subject matter expert for provider data strategy and capabilities. Innovation & Prototyping Lead experimentation and innovation initiatives focused on provider data challenges. Create rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and MVPs to validate hypotheses before full-scale investment. Leverage AI, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve: Provider search and discovery Data matching and identity resolution Data quality and enrichment Workflow automation Predictive insights Partner closely with engineering teams to translate prototypes into scalable products. Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making Be comfortable working directly with data to identify trends, opportunities, and product insights. Define KPIs measuring provider data quality, completeness, accuracy, coverage, and adoption. Use SQL, BI tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms to validate assumptions and guide prioritization. Perform root-cause analysis on data quality issues and operational bottlenecks. Drive product decisions through quantitative and qualitative evidence. Product Delivery & Execution Lead product delivery from discovery through launch and continuous optimization. Create and maintain product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation. Prioritize and manage product backlogs based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility. Partner with Engineering, UX, and Data teams to ensure successful implementation. Drive execution through Agile methodologies and ensure high-quality outcomes. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with executive leaders, healthcare domain experts, operational teams, engineering, and external partners. Communicate roadmap priorities, business cases, metrics, risks, and trade-offs effectively. Build alignment across competing stakeholder priorities through data-driven recommendations. Present product strategy, investment opportunities, and outcomes to leadership teams. Required Qualifications Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or related field. 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Data Product Management, or Product Ownership. 5+ years of experience working with data-intensive products, platforms, or analytics solutions. Demonstrated experience defining and managing data products, APIs, platforms, or large-scale datasets. Strong analytical mindset with ability to work directly with complex data. Experience leveraging metrics and experimentation to guide product decisions. Experience leading cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with healthcare provider data, provider directory management, credentialing, provider networks, MDM, or healthcare interoperability. Experience with healthcare standards including: NPI FHIR HL7 CAQH Provider Directory APIs Hands-on experience with: SQL Power BI/Tableau Data visualization tools AI-assisted analytics tools Experience building data platforms, master data solutions, or data marketplaces. Experience applying AI/ML techniques to data quality, matching, classification, and automation problems. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
