Grade: E~VS Job Responsibilities <Main Duties> ・Overall HR headquarters operations in Japan (HR systems, recruitment, training, compensation, payroll, labor relations, Hay, attendance & paid leave, audit response, etc.) ・Participation in global HR system projects, implementation and rollout of global HR policies in Japan ・Revision and operation of common HR systems across 4 domestic group companies ・Coordination with HR departments of joint venture partner companies (Sumitomo Chemical, DIC, etc.) ・Handling special assignments from the HR director (Board Member of Covestro Japan) Characteristics & Differentiation ・Provide HR support for the success and growth of Covestro's business in Japan ・As a global company, there is relatively frequent collaboration and communication with various countries — suitable for those interested in different cultures or wanting to utilize language skills ・Involvement in various HR areas: business partnering, labor management, HR strategy, overseas HR, compensation & benefits, talent development; diverse stakeholders allow broad experience as an HR Manager Requirements **Education:** University graduate or higher (liberal arts or science background acceptable) **Work Experience:** ・5+ years of broad HR experience (HR systems, recruitment, training, compensation, payroll, labor relations, temporary staffing management, Hay, attendance & paid leave, audit response, etc.) ・Experience with HR system upgrades and operational experience including HR system data maintenance **Technical Skills:** ・Basic knowledge of HR-related laws (Labor Standards Act, social insurance, taxation), practical knowledge of compensation and pension systems ・English: Sufficient proficiency for overseas communication (speaking, reading, writing). TOEIC750+ as guideline. Actual English ability and prior English work experience will be prioritized. English interview will be conducted. ・High IT literacy with daily use of AI Qualifications ・Proactive — able to propose, gain stakeholder consensus, and implement as a professional HR (not waiting for instructions) ・Honest and collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills; able to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work as a team player ・Strong desire for self-improvement Application When you apply, you must attach Japanese resume (履歴書、職務経歴書)and English CV.
