Group/Division The Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells KLA’s product portfolio to help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards to enable technologies like AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics. What You'll Do In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. KLA is looking for a Practical Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Development group. This role focuses on the design and documentation of cables and electrical cabinets, machine wiring design, and the integration of electro-mechanical subsystems for advanced semiconductor machines. The position includes responsibility for creating and maintaining electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, generating Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supporting products throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing release and sustaining engineering. What Will Your Job Look Like? Be part of the electronic group within a multidisciplinary organization Design cables, power cabinets and machine wiring diagrams Create and maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical. Generate and manage engineering documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support system integration, production, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle. Lead engineering changes (ECO/ECR) Define, document, and maintain electrical verification and acceptance test procedures. Work with manufacturing and NPI teams from design phase through product release. Support suppliers and subcontractors during manufacturing and assembly activities. Minimum Qualifications What You Need to Succeed? Practical Electrical Engineering with valid electrician license Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with AutoCAD tool. Proven experience in designing electrical systems and cabling. Familiarity with BOM creation and engineering documentation processes. Experience supporting manufacturing, integration, and product release activities. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications .
