City/State Charlottesville, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for Cornell 2- our Medical Oncology Unit! This is a full-time night shift position (12 hour) in Charlottesville, VA. Cornell 2: Our Medical Oncology Unit specializes in surgical Oncology, urology, vascular, and chest tube care, providing a dynamic environment for experienced nursing professionals. With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5/1:6, you'll develop your skills while receiving mentorship from experienced staff. We care for a diverse patient population, including those with CHF, COPD, oncology patients with neutropenia or new diagnoses, and amputations. Operating on 12-hour shifts with weekend rotations, we offer comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development to foster collaboration and growth in your nursing career. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service. Education Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) Or MSN (Preferred) Certification/Licensure Registered nursing License (Required) BLS required within 90 days of hire Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
