About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Collections Associate Manager within Commercial Banking Operations. In this role, you will: Supervise a team engaged in the review and monitoring of accounts, collections, late charges and resolving customer disputes Participate in determining volume and profit goals with organizational impact and identify opportunities to determine appropriate course of action and conduct investigative steps to fully identify the issues within defined scope of responsibilities Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development Make day to day supervisory decisions Consult regarding moderately complex transactions, and determine appropriate course of action Oversee team, operations and compliance to implement strategies for the business area Exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of transaction quality or deficiencies, risks, and investigative steps to recommend solutions Monitor of bankruptcy proceedings and assist in litigation proceedings Collaborate with peers and team regarding inquiries of low to moderate complexity Interact directly with internal and external customers Supervise allocation of people and financial resources for Commercial Collections Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Commercial Collections experience, or equiv: work experience, training, military experience, education 1+ years of Leadership experience Desired Qualifications: 4+ years of collections experience Experience with Office Technology collections Experience working in roles within accounting, accounts receivable/payable Experience working with the following systems: Artiva and Infolease Coaching, training, and mentoring experience Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to embrace and adapt to change Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Sound organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Candidate must be based out of posted location This position offers a hybrid work schedule Relocation assistance is not available for this position Ability to work additional hours as needed Posting Location: Des Moines, IA Posting End Date: 2 Oct 2026 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
